CIVIL LITIGATION DIVISION

We represent clients in business and real estate litigation in the state of California and all federal courts. It is unfortunate that we live in a litigious society with the prospect of litigation being ever-present in today’s business dealings and relationships. The Emge Law Group evaluates each dispute and counsels its clients whether to pursue litigation or settlement. This should be a decision based on economic grounds, not emotions.

We inform our clients of alternative forms of dispute resolution, and do not hesitate to advise a client that litigation may not be in his or her best interest, even when the client has a valid basis for litigation. However, in certain circumstances, we will advise the client that they should pursue litigation vigorously to avoid losing rights to valuable property. It is the client's ultimate decision whether or not to pursue litigation. In the event the client determines that litigation is best for his or her situation, we are committed to aggressively pursue the client’s goals. During each stage of the litigation process, we provide our clients with information regarding the potential costs of litigation; evaluate the current legal strategy and likelihood of success; and discuss the possible option of settlement.
